Description
The College provides, in conjunction with the University of Cambridge, an education for some 900 undergraduate and postgraduate students which is recognised internationally as being of the highest standard. This education develops students academically and advances their leadership qualities and interpersonal skills, and so prepares them to play full and effective roles in society.
In particular, Churchill College provides teaching facilities and individual or small-group supervision, as well as pastoral, administrative and academic support through its tutorial system. The College also provides social, cultural, musical, recreational and sporting facilities to enable each of its students to realise as much as possible of their academic and personal potential whilst studying here.
Supporting students is one of the cornerstones of the Think Forward Campaign, which was launched in 2020 and aims to grow the College’s endowment to £200 million by 2030 to fund continuing success in research, creativity, access, the future.
The College's primary objective is to continue to offer excellent teaching and research opportunities whilst maintaining the wellbeing of students, Fellows and staff. Essential to this is the provision of an environment that adequately supports and inspires its community.
The economic climate is continuing to bring challenges (to us all) this financial year, and the funds raised as part of the Think Forward Campaign will be instrumental to the College being able to rise to meet these as we move through 2025.
